Givens Performing Arts Center

The Givens Performing Arts Center offers several series: Front Row Arts Series, Professional Artist Series, and the Distinguished Speaker Series. The Front Row Arts Series is a curated selection of on-demand programs you can enjoy at home. The Professional Artist Series includes musicians like Sister Sledge and Forever Young as well as orchestra performances like the Polish Philharmonic Orchestra. 

The University of North Carolina offers some of the best music in Pembroke. This includes great musical performances by students, faculty, and guest artists at the Moore Hall Auditorium. Be sure to catch one of the many choir performances, jazz concerts, orchestra concerts, band concerts and more. Guest artists have included Darkwater on the electric cello and Michael Chertock on the piano. 

Hay Street Live

Although Fayetteville is about a 45-minute drive from Pembroke, you don't have to leave the comfort of home to participate in this virtual jam session! Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m., tune in live to see local artists spotlighted by the Fayetteville Cumberland Arts Council. Some of the artists participating include Jonathan Robinson, The Sherman Neckties, Rivermist, Whiskey Pines, and others. Carolina Civic Center

Originally known as the Carolina Theatre when it opened its doors in 1928, the Carolina Civic Center was the county's primary cultural arts center. Located in downtown historic Lumberton,  it re-opened in 2009 after a major renovation. The historic building is now bustling with some of the best music in Pembroke, including the Glenn Miller Orchestra, international award-winning bluegrass band Balsam Range. Theatre performances like the Wizard of Oz are also offered at the Carolina Civic Center.
