Appointments

Browse the stacks for your next book, select a movie to watch with roommates, use the computer, or get some work done. It doesn't matter which option you choose, the Pembroke Library has an appointment slot for you to unlock the treasures of the library. With limits on appointment numbers and required masking, you can peruse safely. 

Meet Libby

Once you have a library card or a student card, you will be able to add it to the Libby app (free to download from your device's app store). This will allow you to safely borrow books in the Pembroke Library database without having to leave your apartment. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, eReader, or computer to browse, check-out, and place a hold on any book in their database. 

Use the Fast Lane

If you prefer to not come into the library at all but crave the feel of a real book, the Pembroke Library is also offering Fast Lane. This updated version of their Express Checkout allows patrons to pick-up items they have placed on hold without a browsing appointment. All you'll need to do is show your card at the door and a helpful staffer will bring you items placed on hold.
